Viglink could technically be called a hybrid between an adnetwork and an affiliate marketing. From their site they state, “by identifying commercial products mentioned within a publisher’s content, VigLink automatically transforms those terms into revenue generating hyperlinks whose destinations are determined in real-time, advertiser-bid auctions”. So the focus is on products and is ideal for a more product based website. Viglink was quite easy to apply for and set up. In fact, I believe I just entered the domain of the new sites directly on their webpage and that was it. Viglink is an affiliate/adnetwork that lets you take credit (establish your own relationship) if you apply to one of the vendors on their site. For me, I travel a lot so being able to use my own site as a source to produce earnings is quite neat. That said I have just received my first Paypal payment from Viglink. I like the service because of it's numerous advertising partners and ease of checking those partners for participation in their affiliate programs. This is a must-have for newbie internet entrepreneurs.
