I’d Done Some Things

I listen to a lot of podcasts. They’re soothing, comforting and bring motivation and strategies. But sometimes hearing what to do and sort of knowing what you should do allows the brain to provide good feelings about actually doing. It sort of tricks you into thinking that you are ‘doing’. What am I speaking of?

Well, I’ve done things on my site with MailChimp for email lists and Pinterest Pins for marketing affiliate products, services, and money-making opportunities. Yay, kudos and the proverbial pat on the back.

However, what I had not forcefully done was talk to those closest to me, who show like-minded interest, and tell them hey I’m having success doing ‘this’ (making money doing things online). You say ‘this’ is of interest to you, you know me, you trust me, why don’t you try it as a referral or referred member and join me?

This is the message I’ve heard from podcast shows like Smart Passive Income, Entrepreneur on Fire and the SideHustleShow podcasts. Talk to those closest to you about the things you are doing and share your successes and challenges. Somehow, I’d skipped this step, which is in reality step 2. With step 1, of course, being to get started doing something.

Sharing My Experiences

So specifically, what I am referring to is my experience with InboxDollars. It’s the 2nd get paid to (GPT) site I’ve engaged with and is quickly becoming one of my favorites overall. A little over a month ago I earned a $100+ payout for basically reading emails. I was super stoked about it because the site has a $30 minimum to cash out which meant after the $5 credit they provided for joining I needed to engage in $25 worth of GPT activities to earn my 1st payment. With the $100 day, that process was short-circuited.

Well, I became so excited by my success that I shared it with a friend, one who expressed some interest in earning extra money. My excitement and testimony about the InboxDollars payout along with all of the other ways I was earning cash on the site convinced them to sign up as a referral or referred member.

And here’s where the magic happened. As a referred member I knew I earned a referral bonus, but InboxDollars also provides referees with an additional 30% share of income earned by the member they’ve referred.

Results in Referral Opportunities that Produce like Clockwork

The friend then realizing the opportunity in referrals quickly signed up two members as their refer-ees and in short fashion has eclipsed the $30 minimum requirement for their initial payout.

I also noted that I’d shared other money-making opportunities I was engaged in and now my friend has signed as a referred member under a total of three of these (PaidViewPoint & QMEE being the other two). And of course, they’ve brought along the same individuals that they introduced to InboxDollars as their refer-ees.

So, I’ve gone from lifting my own load so to speak to having 3 portions of my income come thru my referral and they likewise have generated their own passive income stream with their referrals.

This is the ultimate goal, having passive income stacked on top of our earned income in pursuit of financial independence. This is a small start but the principle applies to both large and small ventures.

And this is my message to you. Open your mouth and share your experiences and successes with those nearer / nearest to you in addition to those further away.
