Two Micro Jobs Sites to get Paid with Minimal Time Investment

Not Quite Passive Income Monetization

I was introduced to two sites that provide income opportunities doing real jobs for dollars and cents per transactions. Micro jobs are probably the best term fit to describe the work.

I came across these sites while developing my pins and boards on my Pinterest site.

The first is called Clickworker. Clickworker uses crowd based knowledge to perform projects for its customers. The crowd utilizes their own equipment and perform tasks or jobs up to the level of their individual skills. Of the two sites Clickworker is probably the more intellectually engaging as it does require some thought to complete the relatively simple tasks like search engine searches. Likewise, there are surveys, listening tasks, analysis tasks, writing tasks etc that can be performed based on your Assessment ratings. The tasks can be performed on desktop and mobile devices (some require one or the other some are open to both). Other than the Assessments, all the tasks are payable upon successful completion. I generally complete tasks when I have idle time, i.e. waiting for dinner to cook, cut away from TV time, washing clothes or sitting idly at the restaurant or bar.  Clickworkers minimal payout is $1 and there is a live and up to date income tracker on the main screen. It shows the revenue you’ve earned and the income that’s payable as of the current date. Like referral opportunities in Ad-networks and Affiliate programs there is an earn-able referral fee for bringing in new Clickworkers. Since I wrote the description of this micro jobs monetization opportunity first, then you may have guessed it’s my preference. I encourage you to take a look.

The second not quite passive income micro jobs site is Spare5. Spare5 is much more tactile in approach for task completion. Stated another way many of the qualifying tasks rely on one’s ability to judge geometric distances, thru manipulation/creation of bounding boxes and bounding objects designed to teach computers how to see. Thus, they are to me less intellectually oriented and more spatially oriented. If this is your thing then Spare5 is definitely for you. Due to the qualification tasks and my lower aptitude for spatially oriented tasks I have not yet come across actual jobs. The site did have an assessment of writing ability which I completed but have not yet received feedback on. Spare5 cannot be used on mobile devices, only computers (notebooks) and notepads. From a time investment standpoint, I’ve spent far more time on Spare5 with limited return vs the time I’ve spent on Clickworker performing micro jobs for a fee. Spare5 also has a less engaging user interface. But if you have idle time and want to use the spare moments to generate small amounts of revenue from micro jobs then I’d recommend looking at this site as well.
