Quantum Online – YouTube Monetization – Pinterest Marketing

Continuing in the vein of investing. I have reacquired access to a very useful site for similar like-minded individuals who are looking to make money, they’ve earned or committed to their business, earn money. The site is called QuantumOnline.com and is tailored towards individuals and entities looking to generate additional streams of income. The site is all about income investing, exchange traded debt, preferred and trust preferred stocks, convertible stocks, master limited partnerships…etc. These securities pay annual, biannual, quarterly and monthly in some cases and thus have the potential to generate a steady stream of revenue. As I noted in my last post I am an investor at heart and am always looking for ways for my funds to work while I am working at my day job or sleeping. I think this approach is quite useful for those who are starting out on the web based business journey like me, who while working to ‘crack the code’ so to speak need their business to still generate revenue as we spend time developing and working our sites and attempting to come up with additional ideas and projects. Also check out my Pinterest board which links to a site that explains how to start investing with as little as $500. I found the ideas to be generally on-point.

It’s been 16 days since the last post, incredible. So first an update on the Yoast experiment, the jury is still out…lol. I’ve seen a slight uptick in traffic on some days, I think the positive in the situation is that I’ve become much more sensitive to how I title a page and the corresponding (slug,,,need the correct word) that I use, focusing on ways that people may search for information on that topic. For those of you who are just coming to the site, I have been struggling with how Yoast was presenting my pages on the internet as this directly impacts driving traffic to the site, see the Yoast post for more details. Anyway, I think between the heightened attention to detail and just being more active, traffic has picked up some.
On a very positive note I did have a new idea for an income stream for my first site. It was one of those ideas that was just staring me in the face and my nascent entrepreneurial instincts caused me to initially miss it. It’s actually related to Amazon FBA but not that, at least not yet. I’ll investigate things a little more and provide some detail on outcome later. I guess my point here is that on ‘somebody’s’ (may have been Mike O’neal or Pat Flynn) podcast I recall an individual describing that in working on their first business they identified a second niche which became they’re second viable venture. It was like the ‘scales’ were effectively removed from their eyes and they saw, for the first time, that with an entrepreneurial mindset you don’t necessarily wait for the market to provide a means for something to get done, you create the means and therefore the business opportunity. Right now being so new at this I still have a consumers mindset which can see an opportunity for myself personally (a deal to buy something at a reasonable price) but not necessarily the business opportunity that the consumer deal presents. Hopefully I am not being too opaque. If I find the podcast episode I will link it here.
By the time of this posting I will have started on an additional income stream which involves YouTube monetization. The 1st video is based on the difficulty I had placing Chitika Ads on my 1st site. Yeah everyone is doing it but I see niche opportunities for me as a ‘shoestring startup’ so I’m going to do it as well. With enough small amounts trickling in I’ll eventually get to seeing full rain drops which is what I am after, steady progress. The other benefit of course is that I get to ‘plug’ this site there on YouTube.
